On measures to prevent the spread of COVID19

2020.04.15

OBI HOLDINGS

On April 15, 2020, the Ministry of Health (MOH) of Singapore requested companies in Singapore to implement stricter and more effective infection control measures. Therefore, from today, we have decided to implement remote working for all employees working at the Singapore headquarters to prevent the spread of infection during work and commuting.

As a measure to prevent infections for employees, we have forbidden all contact not only with employees but also with business partners during the circuit breaker period, as well as prohibiting business trips to foreign countries.

Additionally, in order to support our employees and their families, we have established a health condition consultation desk with a specialist doctor, providede 10K masks and disinfection sprays to more than 50 employees and contract employees, outsourced contractors and temporary employees who work closely. We have also independently provided a "New Corona Measures Benefit" to full time employees.

In addition, as a Japanese company operating in Singapore, we strictly adhere to the infection prevention measures set out by the Singapore government, and as a responsibility to society, we intend to fully support medical institutions and NGOs who are working to prevent COVID19 infection in Singapore.

As a result, we will not be able to answer calls to our representative telephone number of the office. Please contact us by e-mail (support@obih.sg).

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support as we strive towards quality services.
